BSc (Hons) MCSP HCPC

Helen has over 20 years’ experience in treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions in the NHS and privately, but particularly enjoys rehabilitation of the lower limb and spinal conditions. She has worked closely with Professor Justin Cobb in the area of hip and knee arthroplasty and has her name to publications where she has helped with following up patients.. She gained invaluable experience at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and, before going into private practice, worked at King Edward VII Hospital in Marylebone.

She is also trained in Women’s Health and is a certified Mummy MOT practitioner, helping to rehabilitate post-natal patients (with pelvic pain, abdominal diastisis and retraining the pelvic floor muscles) and empowering them to get back to normal, as well as treating women with continence issues.  It’s never too late to deal with these problems and she finds this area of treatment incredibly rewarding, as often initial results can be gained very quickly.

Helen has also completed Parts 1-3 of the “Connect Physio” course with LJ Lee and employs this ‘Thoracic Ring’ approach to her patients to provide a more holistic assessment of underlying issues driving pain and dysfunction.  She works closely with consultants and is always happy to refer on if she feels this is required.
