Christina Scorringe

Christina qualified from St Mary’s Hospital in 1992 and specialised in musculoskeletal medicine early in her career. She works as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Rheumatology in a large NHS teaching hospital. She has also had extensive experience in Orthopaedics and has worked in the private sector for the past 25 years. She is also a lecturer practitioner at Brunel University teaching on both under-graduate and post-graduate courses.
She has completed a vast amount of post-graduate education including a Masters in Advanced Physiotherapy, Diplomas in Rheumatology, Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection therapy as well as courses in advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal problems, strength and conditioning training, acupuncture, sports injuries, manipulation, biomechanics, management of spinal pain, complex shoulder problems and chronic pain conditions.
She has a particular interest in managing rheumatological and orthopaedic conditions and has specialist experience in managing patients with arthritis and osteoporosis. She also manages sports related injuries, post-fracture rehabilitation and all types of musculoskeletal conditions as well as spinal pain. She adopts a holistic approach to managing patients to include other aspects of health such as nutrition, sleep and lifestyle changes.
