Christina qualified from St Mary’s Hospital in 1992 specialising in musculoskeletal medicine. She works as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Rheumatology and Orthopaedics in the NHS, she has worked the Private sector for the past 13 years. She is a regular lecturer on both under-graduate and post-graduate courses to physiotherapists ,doctors and nurses and is currently working as lecturer practitioner at Brunel University.

She has completed a vast amount of post-graduate education including Diplomas in Rheumatology, Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection therapy as well as courses in advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal problems, acupuncture, sports injuries, manipulation, biomechanics, core stability training, management of spinal pain, complex shoulder problems and chronic pain conditions. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in advanced physiotherapy.

She is a member of both the British Health Professionals in Rheumatology, Society of Orthopaedic Medicine and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She has a particular interest in managing sports related injuries, post-fracture rehabilitation and managing arthritis as well as spinal pain. She adopts a holistic approach to managing patients to include other aspects of health such as nutrition, sleep and lifestyle changes.
