Vish Patel

Vish Patel completed a BSc honors degree in Physiotherapy in 2005. Joining the NHS Rotational Program at Southend University Hospital provided Vish with a solid clinical foundation and exposure to the core components of physiotherapy care.

He went on to complete an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2011 at Queen Mary University London. Over his diverse and rewarding career, Vish has had the opportunity to work on Harley Street, at the Royal London Hospital, University College London Hospital and Crystal Palace Football Club, amongst others.

He has a special interest in Sport Medicine, Rehabilitation and ‘Return to Play’ as well as Pre and Post op rehabilitation for patients undergoing Orthopaedic procedures, notably Knee/Hip/Shoulder/Ankle and Elbow Surgeries. A further subspecialty includes his clinical and research-based work in Haemophilia and other bleeding related conditions; where he extended his scope of practice to include Musculoskeletal Point of Care Ultrasound & Musculoskeletal Injection Therapy. He is also keen on delivering effective Manual therapy techniques, soft tissue mobilisations and Acupuncture/dry needling, as adjuncts to his holistic treatment programs.

Regular collaboration with consultants and other health professionals in Orthopaedics, Sports and Exercise Medicine (SEM), Podiatry, Rheumatology, and Haematology departments allows him to ensure a holistic approach to management and an optimal outcome for patients.

Outside of his clinical work, Vish enjoys Pilates, meditation and health tech innovation, having recently collaborated with ‘Pfizer’ in populating a health care smart device application
